Yes today is my birthday…and I am simply excited to have shared my life with you all, my relatives, friends and the many well wishers I have garnered over the years. I leave you all with three new videos, as my gift to you for all the love, support and even challenges you have thrown my way. When you are done with the videos, take your time and browse around especially for those of you who are not physically with me today. Through my website you can spend some quality time with me. Remember, you have contributed to the person I now call “me”. And for that I am grateful. I look forward to many more years plus good health by the Grace of our God and the good spirits that be. Enjoy!
From yours truly, Joyce, Dr. J, Prof., Batuo, JB, JAB, Ngore, Manoh, plus all the other ways you have referred to me over the Years.
MISOGYNY EXPOSED!!!!
--------------------
Dr. J. shames mainstream media on its main archilles' heel - the ease with which it slips into the familiar journalistic framework of masculine rhetoric - a paradigm which clearly allows no space for womanhood. The poet holds to scrutiny the tendency in the press to see things only through the same narrow and subjective prism.
--------------------
She elicits nostalgia for the glorious 1970s when feminists made uncompromising demands of the world and this was compensated by constitutional amendments. Die-hards within the ranks of the men have apparently taken the battle into the arena of mainstream media where with subtlety the annihilation of womanhood has been pursued with renewed vigor. The poet steps away from the madding crowd's ignoble strife and refuses to play the same game as some of the sell-out sisters who have even been co-opted in the battle against the self.
----------------------
Palin is clearly objectified like no politician ever has. Voyeuristic media references to her attire and looks reduces her to being the subject of that old notorious masculine gaze. She has her foibles - who doesn't. That should not deprive her of the agency accorded every other person aspiring to the same office.
The philosopher/poet/dramatist par-excellence choses to objectively let Palin's own words and actions nail her rather than be the one to cast even one of the stones.
------------------------
This is therefore not just another feminist rant but a call for introspection on both sides(?).
When we consider the fact that it took a 9/11 attack on the WTC for our kind in the media to even figure out what the women of Afghanistan have been experiencing right after the Taliban took over, I truly need to check and polish what I say to or about any woman.
----------------------------
And believe me this is neither about the paradise in-between nor is it about the price-less mounds that connects their kind. Nailing Palin is an eye-opener, a promise and a threat all rolled into one. It jolts the viewer into bringing to the fore an awareness that had selfishly been pushed to the rear.
When next the men of the media take it upon themselves to nail palin they need to make sure that the they've got balls of steel because there is some 'sista' out there who will crack balls.

Ok Valley, we are on the same page when you say "I truly need to check and polish what I say to or about any woman.". Sometimes all that is needed is one good man with a conscience!
