Binding in Love (for EXSSA-USA)

In celebration of the 48th anniversary of Saker baptist College, an all girls christain college founded on January 29th 1962 with a vision to groom girls with a high moral and academic acumen. Saker has become a beacon of dynamic womanhood in Cameroon. The alumni (Ex Saker Students Association, EXSSA) of this prestigious college cover the globe and there is an energetic chapter in the USA.

With God’s grace freely given,

From Saker Baptist college,

we’ve travelled afar to Atlantic’s other side

But no snow, sleet or slush

 

Will keep Saker off our minds

 

 

Yes, women we’ve now become

 

In different careers of life

 

But we join here in love, as ExSSA USA.

 

Giving back to Saker

 

To glorify our maker

 

 

Every now and then

 

We meet valleys on our paths

 

But armed with our God, we make "a climbing out".

 

Walking in our faith

 

and duty to His word

 

 

So we sing in harmony

 

And make this pledge today:

 

We’ll be our sister’s keeper, in good ole USA.

 

So hand in hand we bind

 

Till our sojourn here is done
